Proverbs 1:33

“…But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm….”

I think the biggest impediment to peace is actually giving up the illusion of control. The truth is a lot of times no matter how much we do and try to fix the situation forcing and working to work things out it never comes out to be what we set out for it to be.

So here is the kicker…did we ever relinquish control and with boldness look towards fulfilling our call so when a particular chapter of our lives does come to an end do we look at it as a victory and truly believe that this is God’s will or do we just settle for the new normal. Silently resenting it, holding grudge, and slowly giving up day by day eventually becoming more or less walking dead hopeless, bitter and condemned by our own endless chatter in the mind.

Prayer: My Lord strengthen me in my walk with you, give me the spirit of boldness and perseverance, and when necessary be gentle in your reminders to me that all works out for good for those who believe in you.
